  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
  2. Lower the heat and add turmeric powder. Stir briefly.
  3. Add shredded cabbage and diced potato. Mix well.
  4. Cover the pan and cook on low heat.
  5. When the vegetables are half-cooked, add coriander powder, chilli powder, amchoor, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Cover again and continue cooking on low heat until the potatoes are tender and the cabbage is soft.
  7. Sprinkle garam masala and increase the heat. Sauté on high heat for a couple of minutes, stirring occasionally.
